Community-based, peer led self-help mental health program that uses the Recovery Method, a system of cognitive behavioural techniques to help individuals gain and practice living skills to change thoughts and behaviours.
Program designed to work in conjunction with professional mental health services. Information available for:
- mood disorders, including depression, dysthymia and bipolar (manic-depressive) disorders
- psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia; anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders
- personality disorders
**Recovery Canada is operated entirely by non-professionals
