Guelph/Wellington Community Health Van

The Guelph/Wellington Community Health Van is a Mobile Outreach Health and Harm
Reduction Service. The van makes stops in Guelph and Rural Wellington providing harm reduction supplies, food & hygiene products, first aid supplies and clothing (occasionally). We have a nurse and social support worker on board who can provide wound care, blood testing and treatment, referrals and system navigation. Additionally, we have a peer support worker for informal/formal counselling and debriefing. You do not need a health card or any ID to access our services. The only information we track is to provide a record of how many individuals access the van, and what those individuals access from us.

Sanguen has a zero-tolerance policy for any and all forms of racism, hate, bigotry,
and discrimination by or from all staff and clients. We are committed to creating a
safe and protected space for all marginalized and/or racialized staff and clients
We always encourage feedback, comments, requests or complaints! Your complaints are opportunities for us to ensure that our service is meeting your needs. Call the number at the bottom of this page or pull a team member aside during van service to ensure your voice is being heard.
Stay safe, carry naloxone and support one another.
